I've been guiding on the Kenai for over twenty years, and when someone asks me what makes a great kenai river fishing guide, I don't talk about fish counts first. I talk about character. The ability to read a person as quickly as you read the water — that's what separates a good day from a day someone talks about for the rest of their life.

Every guide on our team has been personally vetted by me. They know this river the way you know your own driveway at night. Blind. By feel. When the sockeye are stacking below the clay bluff at river mile 14, my guides are already there.
